The Scott City R-1 School District is seeking qualified applicants for full time Special Education Classroom Assistants and/or personal assistants for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
60+ college hours required or willingness to complete 20 hours of online training through DESE in order to obtain a substitute teacher certificate. All school positions require an individual to pass a background check.

The Scott City R-1 School District is seeking School Bus Drivers. No experience is necessary, just a clean driving record and driver's license. Ability to obtain a Missouri Class B CDL with school bus endorsement (S) is required. Drivers who already possess a CDL and bus endorsement will be given priority in the hiring process.
School Bus Driver Responsibilities:
- Transport students to and from school in the mornings and afternoons
- Transport students to field trips and sporting events
- Maintain a clean and mechanically-sound bus at all times
- Obey all traffic laws
- Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route
- Ensure the safety of all students
- Assist students with getting on and off the bus when required
Qualifications:
- Driver's License (Required)
- Must be willing to undergo drug and background tests
- Clean driving record for at least 3 years.
