The Varsity and JV baseball teams held a combined Blue/Gold scrimmage game this afternoon. It was a great afternoon for baseball! The blue team, coached by JV coaches Schumer and Howe got the win. Next up, Varsity will begin their season Saturday against Perryville and Doniphan in a double header at Capaha Field in Cape at 11am and 1 pm. Hope to see you there! #letsplaytwo



CTC students will be in session next Thursday, March 24. Scott City School will not be in session but CTC students will be required to attend. Bus will run as normal.

The Scott City Concert Band traveled to SEMO's river campus to perform at MSHSAA large ensemble contest. The band scored a Outstanding (2) grade overall and earned an Exemplary (1) in sight reading! Go Rams!


Recently the High School Art club participated in a service project to provide painted hats for children battling cancer at St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis, TN. The hats and materials were donated by the High School Art Club members. High School Art teacher Mr. Conaway was able to present the hats to St. Jude's logistics operations manager Nate Johnson on Monday. We're proud of our student's willingness to serve others! The Army National Guard did small group ASVAB reviews for our sophomores and juniors. We wish to thank Sgt. Cameron Barnett for spending half the day with our students.



Scott City High School Art Club had a Rock'n good time on their annual field trip to downtown Cape Girardeau. Wednesday, the art club started at the Catapult Creative Center, then to the Southeast Missouri Arts Council, the Crisp Museum at the SEMO River Campus, and ended with an amazing visit to River Radio station's Real Rock 99.3. Thank you to everyone who participated in the blood drive. We collected 88 units, exceeding our goal by 13 units and beating Chaffee in the Blood Battle!! Way to go everyone!

Fine Arts Night-March 10th at 7:00pm in the FEMA The Art departments will kick off the evening at 5 pm with an open house of art displays of our students k-12 in the foyer of the FEMA building. At 7 pm, our High School Theater department will perform several pieces, followed by our Elementary/Middle School Honor choir with folk songs and hymns, and to finish the evening our High School Jazz Band will perform!!! We are looking forward to a fun evening of seeing the MANY DIFFERENT talents of our students and hope to see you there!!
