Physical copies of student MAP and EOC results are available for pick up during student enrollment August 7th and 8th. They will also be available during Back to School night August 15th. Remaining reports will be mailed after the 15th.

Have a student in Kindergarten this coming school year? Not sure you have a login to complete the back to school registration? Check the email you provided at the time of enrollment for an email to parent portal when you enrolled your Kindergarten student. If you need assistance go to portal.scr1.org and at the parent login click on Forgot your parent password? and input the email address you used at the time of enrollment. You should receive a password reset link. If you need further assistance you can email us at sishelp@scr1.org and request help.

It's time to complete your student's back to school paperwork for the 2023-2024 school year. You can do this in your parent portal account. Look for the gold bar at the top of the page. Be sure to switch students at the top if you have more than one and complete paperwork for both! You can access the parent portal by going to our website or going to https://portal.scr1.org If you have forgotten your password you can use the password reset box on the login screen.

Today Mrs. Heather Helle was recognized at the Regional Teacher of the Year Banquet at Southeast Missouri State University. Anyone that has ever had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Helle knows how deserving she is of this award. Bootheel Counseling Services is looking for an individual interested in providing
therapy services to youth in the Scott City School District and our new Scott City
Clinic to clients across the life span. This individual will work closely with school
faculty and guardians to meet the behavioral health needs of students in the
district. Duties include but are not limited to assessments, treatment planning,
individual and family therapy, consultation, and care coordination.
Qualified applicants must possess at least a master’s degree from an accredited
educational institution in the field of psychology, social work, counseling, or a
related field. Licensure preferred; provisional or eligibility for licensure is
required.

The Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center is offering 20 hours of training which will provide a certificate from the Missouri Department of Education to be a substitute teacher. If your student has medication in the nurse's office, please pick up 6/12-6/15 between 7:05am - 2:45pm or 7:05am-12:00pm to avoid disposal. All medication left in the nurse office will be destroyed Friday 6/16/23 at noon. Please call the nurse office 573-264-2131 option 6 if you have any questions.
