Megan Sides was chosen as the next Assistant Principal at Scott City Elementary by the district's Board of Education on January 17th, 2024.
Mrs. Sides has worked in the field of education for the last 12 years. She will be bringing a wide variety of expertise including a passion for Trauma-Informed teaching, SBRC writing, assessment revision, curriculum design, safety and disaster preparation, utilizing technology in the classroom, district policies, and RtI implementation.
Sides will take over duties from Mrs. Carmen Winders, who held the position for the past 6 years. Mrs. Winders will be retiring at the end of this year after serving 41 years as an educator.
