Steven Hendricks has been chosen as the next High School Principal for Scott City High School by the district's Board of Education on January 17th, 2024. He will begin his duties on July 1st, 2024.
Hendricks has worked in education for 15 years, all at Scott City Schools. He has been a teacher and coach at SCR1. He has served as the High School and Middle School Assistant Principal for the past 5 years and is instrumental in leading the curriculum in both schools as well as being the director of federal programs.
Hendricks will take over duties from Mr. Amick, who held the position for the past 6 years. Amick will take over as Superintendent of Scott City Schools on July 1st 2024.
